Watching Battle of the Network Stars women’s obstacle course event on ESPN Make Me Feel Old/Nostalgic channel.  I’m guessing it’s around 1979-1980 based on the shows represented - CHiPS, Eight is Enough, BJ and the Bear, WKRP in Cincinnati and some of the competitors - Melissa Gilbert, Dick Van Patten, and Gil Gerard.
Howard Cosell is doing the commentary of race between Erin Gray, in the photo above on the right, who played Col. Wilma Deering on Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and Valerie Bertinelli, if I have to tell you who she is than you’ve already moved on.  He describes Erin moving through the course as lithe and supple.  Oh, Howard, you did have a way with words.
Incidentally, Kristy McNichol set the course record during the preliminaries, she ran like a scalded cat through the course.
